Pennsylvania's EITC program creates valuable financial scholarships for families at BCS and you can participate as a contributor today!
Businesses & individuals with a tax liability can join a Special Purpose Entity (SPE) to take full advantage of the PA EITC programs. These SPE’s or Pass-Through entities are created as a vehicle for directing EITC funds to families at our school. As part of a Special Purpose Entity, individuals and businesses with a tax liability of at least $500 receive credit for their PA Taxes and participate in the ongoing success of BCS! Contributors will receive tax documents by the end of January of the year following their contribution to claim their tax credits. Educational Tax Credit refunds are then usually received in the fall due to long processing times in the Pennsylvania tax departments.
The process:
Apply. Faith Builders, CPSF, CTF, and PennGift accept applications throughout the year.
Wait. SPEs can usually admit new members and will confirm with an email.
Contribute in the fall. Upon notification by email, members are asked to send in their payment, usually within 20 days.
Tax Credit Processing. After your contribution is made, SPEs send receipts of these contributions to the state of PA to activate the tax credits. Following the end of the December fiscal year, each member receives a K-1 tax packet from the SPE they contributed through. These are mailed by January 31, and should be filed with the member’s tax returns.

“As a Christian and a conservative, I find it increasingly difficult to raise my two sons with the same values in today's society. Belleville Christian School helps instill Christian values into my sons' lives, which I could not do alone. Thank you to BCS and their EITC Business Partners for assisting us in our journey.” -Melvin Swab, parent

“A part of the MCS Bank mission is to invest our resources in ways that positively impact our community. One way we fulfill this mission is by supporting local families and their children who seek a Christian-based education at Belleville Christian School. The EITC program enables us to provide a larger contribution to the school’s scholarship fund than would otherwise be possible.”
- Terry Foster, CEO
MCS Bank

“Through the EITC program, FOXPRO Inc. is fortunate to be able to direct a meaningful portion of our tax dollars to worthy local recipients. We are pleased to partner with Belleville Christian School as they continue to offer quality education based on superb spiritual and social themes.”
